Surveillance Lesson

SOMETHING THEY DON’T TEACH AT P.I. SCHOOL

Here’s a short and sweet lesson for anyone conducting surveillance, anyone who’s a photographer, anyone needing to take photos for that special day, and for anyone who uses a camera where important photos are at stake.

When you are gathering all your equipment for your day, you make sure the camera is charged. You check your spare batteries. You make sure you have a back up camera. You get all your tripods, you check your leads, you do everything you can think of on your check list so you make 100% sure you have forgot nothing. You have left nothing to chance.

Today, you will take amazing photos. You will get that perfect photo of a cheating partner. You will capture that brilliant photo of the sunset. The bride will look stunning on her day of days. What ever you use your camera for, you know your piece of equipment like the back of your hand, and you know it’s going to take brilliant photos every time.

You start snapping off those shots, you check on the screen and everything looks great. You keep clicking, hours go by.

You are sitting for 6 hours waiting for the subject to appear from the house…. IT’S HIM…. CLICK CLICK CLICK. You just got the photo of the person of interest and have got that money shot!

YOU FORGOT SOMETHING!

You get home, you plug your memory card into your computer, you click open the file. You open the photo you are after and something is wrong. There is a blurry circle on the picture.

You are a private investigator, the blurry circle is over the subject’s face.

You are a wedding photographer, the blurry circle is over half your photos and they are ruined!

You blew the money shot!

You ruined the days photos!

You……….

FORGOT TO WIPE YOUR LENS TO MAKE SURE IT WAS FREE FROM DUST AND DIRT…

This is a big lesson and I would hate for you to find out the hard way. Don’t be that person. Don’t destroy your reputation because you didn’t clean your cameras lenses.

A few bucks spent on Amazon buying a camera cleaning kit might save your career.

Thank me later…
